The preservation of archaeological sites and historical artifacts holds significant importance for our founder Satine Queeni. As populations grow and cities expand, the remnants of our past face increasing threats of damage and destruction. Thanks to our new project and latest extension of the Shanti foundation, the Preservation of Archaeological Sites and Historical Artifacts (PASHA), we are stepping up to protect these important elements of our cultural heritage. Our work ensures that future generations can explore and understand the rich history that shapes humanity.
We decided to launch PASHA in honor of our founder's birthday month. Our founder Satine Queeni is an historian, she studies art and cultural history, mostly the late modern period from the eighteenth to late twentieth century. She focuses mostly on European and American history. She also works on the counterculture movement from the late 60s to early 70s. Her work includes anthropology, ethnography, archivism, etymology and genealogy. She decided to create the Preservation of Archaeological Sites and Historical Artifacts, an extension of the Shanti foundation in early 2025.
Archaeological sites serve as windows into our past, offering priceless insights into ancient civilizations and the lives they lived. They are more than just collections of objects; they tell the stories of the people who came before us. Alarmingly, many of these sites are under threat from urban development, climate change, and illegal excavations. The Shanti foundation recognizes this urgency and is dedicated to promoting the conservation of these historic treasures. Restoration of historical artifacts is another critical focus of at PASHA. Many artifacts have experienced damage over time due to neglect or environmental factors. We employ skilled conservation specialists who carefully restore these items. This meticulous work is vital not just for preserving beauty but also for scientific analysis where researchers are able to uncover new insights into trade routes and everyday life in ancient societies.
Individuals can also contribute to these preservation efforts by visiting archaeological sites and participating in cultural events. Every action matters; even sharing the importance of historical artifacts can significantly affect community awareness and support. The more people understand the value of cultural heritage, the more likely they will stand up for its protection.
Our dedication to preserving archaeological sites and historical artifacts is essential for maintaining our cultural heritage. As the threat of loss looms over many significant historical sites, we are committed to this mission to play a crucial role in protecting these irreplaceable treasures. By supporting us, you can also take part in preserving the legacy of our ancestors for future generations.
